In this webinar Dr Tristan Hardy will explain the expanded scope NIPT has when using genome wide sequencing on cfDNA and how combining genome-wide NIPT and ultrasound is aiding the care pathway illustrated by case studies with a focus on segmental aneuploidy.

Dr Tristan Hardy is a specialist obstetrician/gynaecologist. His clinical practice centres on couples requiring IVF and preimplantation genetic testing for genetic conditions, reproductive carrier screening, noninvasive prenatal testing, prenatal diagnosis, and pregnancy loss. Dr. Hardy has a strong focus on translational research in reproductive genomics. Alongside specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, he completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine and PhD in genomic approaches to preimplantation genetic testing. He is a member of the Global Education and Outreach Committee of the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis and a Medical Advisory Board member of Cradle Genomics. He is passionate about genetics education in obstetrics and gynaecology and is developing an online course on Genetics in Pregnancy with Lisa Hui from Melbourne University. |
